The Alaska Bird Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in the State of Alaska. Our mission is to promote responsible avian ownership through education and when possible, to provide rescue and adoption services for abandoned and unwanted birds in communities across Alaska.
F.I.S.H. delivers emergency food aid to people in need in Anchorage, Alaska, responding to a call for help through a network of volunteers. Whether at the end of a paycheck, out of work, beset by illness or in a family crisis, many people face difficult times. F.I.S.H. wants to be there for those who find themselves in an emergency needing food.
The Friends donates approximately $90,000 a year for books, media, funding of the Summer Reading Celebration, Live @ the Library concerts and other library projects. In addition, the Friends have helped build collections at all neighborhood libraries.

The Lemong’o Project is a charitable non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Maasai people of Lemong’o in rural Kenya through improvement of nutrition, access to education, health support, and employment opportunities.
Our mission is to enhance the lives of orphans by providing health, social and educational resources in 39 villages along the southwest shore of Lake Malawi. We support orphans from birth to adulthood providing, shelter, food, safety, health care and education until they can live independent healthy lives.
Mobile Medics International is a 501(C)3 non-profit, volunteer organization that provides medical care to victims of natural disaster and humanitarian crises. We were founded to provide basic healthcare to those who may not be able to access medical facilities in a disaster or those who are medically underserved.
Stone Soup Group exists to sustain the health and well-being of Alaskan children with special needs and their families. Through listening to the stories of families, we identify areas of need and work with communities to find solutions.
