Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual or developmental disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenges.
Our mission is to enhance the lives of orphans by providing health, social and educational resources in 39 villages along the southwest shore of Lake Malawi. We support orphans from birth to adulthood providing, shelter, food, safety, health care and education until they can live independent healthy lives.
Mobile Medics International is a 501(C)3 non-profit, volunteer organization that provides medical care to victims of natural disaster and humanitarian crises. We were founded to provide basic healthcare to those who may not be able to access medical facilities in a disaster or those who are medically underserved.
In January of 2019, there was a group of LGBTQ+ and allies folks who got together to try to make a difference for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults.
